The origin of this mark was uncertain for many years. The combination of this mark with English patent numbers indicates that England, and specifically Dixon & Co, was the primary market after 1911 until shipments ceased about 1914-1915. From England, a substantial amount of china bearing this mark was trans-shipped to Australia and New Zealand.
